Rachel was born in 1760 in Amherst Co., VA . Rachel's father was Henry DAWSON and her mother was Mary EDWARDS. She had two brothers and a sister, named Henry Jr, William and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 74 in 1834 in Barren Co., KY .General Notes
