George CARTER 
George was born in 1716 in Corotoman, Lancaster Co., Va. George 's father was Robert 'King' CARTER and his mother was Elizabeth "Betty" LANDON. His paternal grandparents were John CARTER and Sarah LUDLOW. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert , Charles , Ludlow , Landon, Anne , Sarah , Elizabeth "Betty", Mary and Lucy . He was the youngest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John , Judith, Elizabeth, Judith and Sarah.General Notes
