      John P.M. Butler, a son of John and Lucinda (Wood) Butler, was
  born about 1863.  He first married Maggie Owens.  He married Thankful
  Louella Young September 12, 1900.  Thankful, a daughter of Hiram and
  Elizabeth (Cart) Young, was born April 13, 1874 and died January 28,
  1951.  She and William Cart had an out of wedlock daughter.  She and
  Adam Scott Johnson had an out of wedlock daughter.  Adam Scott, a son
  of Irwin D. and Melvina (Murphy) Johnson, was born July 5, 1868.
