Mary "Polly" Burns 
Mary "Polly" was born about 1776 in Augusta Co., VA. Mary "Polly"'s father was John Burns and her mother was Margaret "Mary" (Scheib) SHIPE. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Burns and Eva Barbara Goettel; her maternal grandparents were Johan(John) Adam (Scheib) SHIPE and Caterina UNKNOWN. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Peter, Joseph, John, Eve (Eva) , Sarah and Margaret. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died in 1837 in Webster Co., VA. (WV).-
