Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Gordon KENNEDY and Mary Jane "Jennie" NICHOLSON . She had two brothers and two sisters, named James Hannibal, Samuel L. , Elizabeth A and Florence Amanda. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 48 in 1913 in Traverse City, Grand Traverse Co, MI .-
