His paternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson BURNS and Elizabeth AVERY; his maternal grandparents were William Elmer PRATHER and Mary Ellen St. JOHN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Eugene Clarence, Andrew Cecil, Charles Wade, Miley Henry , Paul Raymond , Josephine Irene "Jesse", Frances Pauline and Corda Bell . He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 88 on May 30th, 1992 in Shelbyville, Shelby Co., In .General Notes
