She had five brothers and six sisters, named Edgar Burge Dayton, James Omer , Charles , Thomas, Ernest Ellsberry, Angie D. , Ada , Josephine , Louisa , Lucy Emmiline "Sency" and Pearl . She was the third oldest of the twelve children.-
