Samuel BLAND 
Samuel was born about 1806 in Nelson Co., KY. Samuel's father was Daniel BLAND and his mother was Elizabeth HUGHES. His paternal grandparents were John BLAND and Margaret OSBORNE. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John H. , Daniel , Jesse Henry , Thomas Osborne, Mildred, Nancy and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died on July 27th, 1864 in Putnam Co., MO.-
