Moses BLAND 
Moses was born on January 23rd, 1823 in Saline Co., AR. Moses' father was Moses "Mos" BLAND and his mother was Nancy McKEE. His paternal grandparents were Osborne BLAND and Letitia (Lettice) "Lettie" HAMBRICK . He had four sisters named Elizabeth, Nancy Ann , Mary "Polly" and Charlotty . He died at the age of 68 on February 22nd, 1891 in Saline Co., AR.General Notes

ARKANSAS GAZETTE Feb.26, 1891 DEATH OF MOSES BLAND 1823 _ 1891 Moses Bland, an old and respected citizen of Owen Township, this county, died on Sunday at his home at the advanced age of 68 years. He had lived in Pulaski County for the last fifty years. The past twenty-two years he lived on the place in Owen Township, that was opened up by Col. Tom Fletcher, having bought the same when Col. Fletcher moved to this city. He had many friends in the county who will greatly regret to hear of his death. He had been a constant memer of the church for many years and his last request to his children was that they so live as to meet him in heaven. Submitted by Joyce Bland McCool
