Moses was born in 1799 in MO. Moses' father was Jesse "Old Hardsides" BLAND and his mother was Nancy KIRKPATRICK. His paternal grandparents were Osborne BLAND and Letitia (Lettice) "Lettie" HAMBRICK . He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Huram Dow, S. Calvin, Caleb, Belinda, Sarah Elizabeth and Verlinda W. . He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 45 on February 27th, 1844 in Owen. Columbia Co., AR.General Notes
