Died-  at Stilesville, Indiana, on the 11th January, 1851.  James Bland, of lung fever, aged thirty one years the 14th of next August.

   So ends the present race of man,
      and death is craving more
   but, dread ye deaths' monstous hand
      If you're prepared to go!
   why these weeping mourning voices
      of friends, o'er the dying,
when the monsters' in your housse---
       ah, for me, this crying
   ere, long you his victim will be;
     Then think where you're going---
Your spirits left---your body's here, ----
     Sure this is worth knowing
