Samuel ANDERSON 
Samuel was born in 1837 in AL. Samuel's father was John Watson ANDERSON and his mother was Sarah "Sallie" DARNELL. His paternal grandparents were Peter ANDERSON and Sanai ROBERTS; his maternal grandparents were James Jackson DARNELL and Patsy DARNELL. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Andrew L. , James , Alexander P. , George W. , Nathaniel Hamilton, Virginia , Sinah, Elizabeth, Orlenia , Florence J. and Sally. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.-
