Pleasy was born on April 5th, 1858 in Marion Co, (W)VA. Pleasy's father was Andrew Toothman and her mother was Margaret (Peggy) Catherine Fluharty. Her paternal grandparents were Adam F. Toothman and Susanna Kerns; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Fluharty and Mary (Mollie) Haught. She had eight brothers and three sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Nicholas Paradez (Daze), Teter B., Edmund Nathaniel, Robert L., Adam Daniel (Little Ad), Jefferson Lee, Jonas W, Joseph Eldridge (Doc), Mary Delphia, Minnie D., Hannah, Iva Nora and Armenia. She was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 2 on May 12th, 1860 in Marion Co, (W)VA.General Notes
