Robert was born about 1657 in Fron Goch, Merionethshire, Wales.  Robert's father was Owen Ap Evan and his mother was Gainor John.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Lewis Evan and Jane Unknown.  He was an only child.  He died on August 12th, 1697 in PA.
