Sarah was born in 1594 in Braintree, England. Sarah's father was John Loomis and her mother was Agnes Lyngwood. Her paternal grandparents were John Loomis and Krysten (Jackson) Pasfield. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Geoffrey (or Godfrey), Ann, Elizabeth and Jane (or June).-
