Newton Haught 
Newton was born about 1810. Newton's father was Jacob Henry Haught and his mother was Mary Magdalena Cannon. His paternal grandparents were John E. Haught and Catherine Croushour; his maternal grandparents were Richard Cannon and Elizabeth Tennant. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Ira, Peter J., Tobias, Mary (Molly), Susan and Christenia. He was the third oldest of the seven children.-
