John Ashcraft 
John was born about 1644 in Barbados. John's father was John Sr. Ashcraft and his mother was Elizabeth Peers. His paternal grandparents were Richard Ashcroft and alice Towers; his maternal grandfather was Richard Peers. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Peers, Edward, Richard, Elizabeth and Susannah. He died on September 15th, 1680 in Connecticut.
