Alberda (Aubrey) was born in 1097 in Pontrefact, Yorkshire, England.1   Alberda (Aubrey)'s father was Robert de Lacy Lord Pontefract and her mother was Maud de Perche.  Her paternal grandparents were Ilbert de Lacy Lord Pontefract and Hawise (de Lacy).  She was an only child.
