Sir William II was born on August 24th, 1237 in of Huntingfield, Suffolk.1 Sir William II's father was Sir Roger II de Huntingfield and his mother was Joan de Hobrugg. His paternal grandparents were Sir William de Huntingfield and Isabel FitzWilliam; his maternal grandparents were William de Hobrugg and Agnes Picot. He was an only child.
