Judith was born in 0982 in Brittany, France.1 Judith's father was Conan I "le Tort" the Crooked Duc de Brittany and her mother was Ermengard-Gerberge de Anjou. Her maternal grandparents were Geoffrey I Grisegonelle Ct de Anjou and Adelais de Chalon de Vermandois. She had a brother named Godfrey (Geoffrey). She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother named Geoffrey I Taillefer. She died at the age of 35 on June 16th, 1017. She was buried in French version of her name is Judith de Bretagne..1 1 General Notes

Judith of Brittany (dau. of Duke Conan I) m. Richard II, Duke of
Normandy. Per Weis' "Ancestral Roots. . ." (166:22).
According to ES II:79 Richard II did marry as his first wife Judith of
Renn es. Their son and heir was Richard III who married Adelaide countess
of Conte nance dau. of king Robert II of France. Judith is given as sole
issue of that marriage, and went on to marry Tostig then Welf.
