Walter II's father was Walter de Bolbec I Giffard Baron Bolbec and his mother was Helawise (de Bolbec). His paternal grandparents were Walter Giffard II Earl of Buckingham and Agnes de Ribemont. He had a brother named Hugh de Bolbec. He died before December 1185.1 General Notes
