Elizabeth was born on May 28th, 1721.1 Elizabeth's father was John Tayloe and her mother was Elizabeth Gwynn. Her paternal grandparents were William Tayloe and Anne Corbin; her maternal grandparents were David Gwynn and Katherine Griffin. She had two brothers and a sister, named William, John and Ann Corbin.
