Absalom was born on March 7th, 1816 in Sauls Cross Roads, NC.1   Absalom's father was Henry Sauls and his mother was UNKNOWN Polly.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 68 on January 8th, 1885 in Sauls Cross Roads, NC.  He was buried in 1885 in Buried at The Sauls Cemetery, Eureka, NC.1 1
