Samuel Septimus' father was Samuel Bynum Morgan and his mother was Diana Landrum Young.  His paternal grandparents were William Morgan and Dolly Ragsdale; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Young and Dorcas Burnett. He had a brother and a sister, named John Robert and Laurinda.  He died on July 9th, 1937 in Texas.  He was buried in Oliver Cemetery, Travis County, Texas.1 1
