George W. was born in 1829 in ,,Georgia. George W.'s father was Allen Martin and his mother was Mary Unknown. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, Imri, Andrew, Marion, John W.L., Rande R., Rebecca, Mary E., Nancy and Emily. He was the oldest of the eleven children.General Notes
In February of 1885, George bought 80 acres of land 6 miles S.E. of the
town of Montague from William Suiter for $100.00.
