John Taylor Griffin was born on September 13th, 1775 in Queen Anne County, Maryland.1 John Taylor Griffin's father was John Fauntleroy and his mother was Mary Watkins Keene. His paternal grandparents were Griffin Fauntleroy and Judith Swann. He was an only child. He died at the age of 69 on May 16th, 1845 in Buchanan County, Missouri.1 General Notes
