FINAL RITES FOR MRS. FANNIE ENOCHS WERE HELD HERE SUNDAY.
Final r ites for Mrs. Fannie Williams Enochs, 88, were last Sunday
afternoon at 2 o'c lock at the Dilday Funeral Home chapel. The Rev.
Harold Townsend of Jackson officiated. Burial was in Humbles Cemetery.
Mrs. Enochs died last Saturday at the Metro Convalescent Hospital in
Nashville. She was the widow of Nathan J ames Enochs who died in 1925.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church a nd had been very active in
the Order of the Eastern Star. her parents were t he late John B Williams
and Nancy Reeder WIlliams. She made ehr home on Bent on Street and in
Nashville with her daugher.
She is survived by her daughter , Mrs. Mary E Rush of Nashville; two
sons, Onus B Enochs of Huntingdon, and J Kelly Enochs of Memphis; four
grandchildren and four great grandchildren; tw o brothers, Nathan Williams
of Memphis and E N Williams of Atlanta Georgia, t hree sisters, Miss Laura
Williams and Mrs Ila Barnes, both of Memphis and Mrs . Carl Turton of
Orleans, Indiana.
Pallbearers were Dewey Christian, Fred T Moore, Jesse McAdams, Guy
Williams, Jimmy Boyd, and James Williams.
