Gersinde de Sabran was born in 1180 in Sabran, Spain.1 Gersinde de Sabran's father was Raimond de Sabran Prince of Marseilles and her mother was Gersinde de Forcalquier Cts de Forcalquier. Her paternal grandparents were Rostaing III du Cailar sn de Sabran and Rosine y de Uzes de Cailar; her maternal grandfather was Guillaume II Ct de Forcalquier. She was an only child. She died at the age of 44 in 1224 in l'Abbaye de la Celle, France. She was buried in Heiress and Regent of Provence & Forcalquier..1 1 General Notes
