Manasses de Ramerupt was born in 1010 in of Dammartine-en-Goele, Seine-Et-Marne, France.1   Manasses de Ramerupt's father was Hildouin II de Montdidier Ct de Roucy and his mother was daughter de Dammartin.  His paternal grandparents were Helpuin Ct de Arcis-Sur-Aube and Hersinde Dame de Rameru. He had a brother named Hildouin III de Montdidier.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 47 on November 15th, 1057 in seige Of Bar-le-Duc, Lorraine, France.  He was buried in Prob. granted Dammartin as a result of his marriage..1 1
