Josephine Burkett 
Josephine was born on July 28th, 1842 in Tennessee.1 Josephine's father was William Burkett and her mother was Lydia J Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Burkett and Sarah Young. She had two brothers and three sisters, named James F, William H, Mary, Amanda and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 78 on December 28th, 1920.1 General Notes
