William (8) Brockenbrough 
William (8) was born in 1812.1 William (8)'s father was Arthur Spicer Brockenbrough and his mother was Lucy Grey. His paternal grandparents were John Brockenbrough and Sarah Roane. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas W., John N., Arthur Spicer (2), Austin (4), George Long, Lucy W., Sarah Roane and Mary Rebecka. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 38 in 1850.1 General Notes
