John Champe Brockenbrough 
John Champe was born in 1775.1 John Champe's father was Austin Brockenbrough and his mother was Lucy Champe. His paternal grandparents were William Brockenbrough and Elizabeth Fauntleroy. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William (6), Champe, Lucy, Jane and Elizabeth (2). He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 33 in 1808.1 General Notes
