Ivo de Grentmesnil Baron Grentmesnil

Ivo de Grentmesnil was born in 1064 in of Normandy, France.¹   Ivo de Grentmesnil's father was Hugh de Grentmesnil Lord Hinckley and his mother was Adelaide de Beaumont.  His paternal grandparents were Robert de Grentmesnil and Advise (Hawisa) de Escalfoy; his maternal grandparents were Ivo de Beaumont and Adelaide de Gournay.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 54 in 1118.  He was buried on November 25th, 1120 in Lost two sons in sinking of the White Ship..^1 1
