Leader-News March 23, 1989: Services for Roy Elwood Welch, 63, of
Houston will be held at 11 A.M. to- day in Rushing-Estes Knowles
Chapel, Sabinal, with the Rev. Gerald Langdon officiating. Interment
will be at 3 P.M. in the Vance Cemetery under direction of Rushing
Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Welch was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Vance and died
March 20, 1989, in North East Medical Center, Houston. Pallbearers are
to be Roy Elwood Welch Jr., Steven Caruso, Larry Dale, Kevin Wells,
Danny Welch and Jimmy Hardin.
