Last legimate descendant of deposed Stuart monarch King James II of Great
Britain. For the last 19 years of his life after the death of his older
brother Charles Edward, "Bonnie Prince Charlie" he was known as King
Henry IX of Great Britain. Created Cardinal of york by Pope Benedict XIV
in 1747; Archbishop of corinth in 1758; Bishop of Frascati, Italy
1761-1803. King George III granted him a yearly pension beginning in 1800.
