Narrative
REFERENCE: 343 Va Cous
William Goode removed from Virginia to Kentucky, about 1780, and settled
in Casey County. He was one of the earliest Methodists in the State. He
was member of the Kentucky Legislature, 1815, 1816, and 1819. He moved to
Ohio, and was member of the State Legislature from Green County. He
subsequently lived in Missouri, and before 1831, had settled in
Scottsville, Macoupin Co., Illinois. He died in 1844, in Palmyra,
