!Obituary, March 11, 1971. Three Rivers--Mrs Josephine Byrne 97, died
Thursday afternoon in a Three Rivers Nursing Home after along illness.
She was a native of Medina County and had lived in Tilden and Three
Rivers many years. She was a member of a South Texas pioneer family.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 P.M. Friday in Brice Funeral Home
Chapel in Three Rivers. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 P.M.
Saturday in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers. Burial
will be in Hill Top Cemetery at Tilden, Texas. Survivors include two
sons, J. A. Byrne of Three Rivers and Merlin Byrne of Tilden, one
daughter, Mrs. L. O. Hartman of George West; nine grandchildren and 15
great-grandchildren.
