Narrative
Alias:<ALIA> Samuel Jeaffreson II or Samuel /Jefferson/ II
Samuel Jeaffreson/Jefferson II came with his older brother John
Jeaffreson/Jefferson II in 1623 to the West Indies with their friend and
neighbor Sir Thomas Warner, who colonized and governed the Leeward
Islands. In the event of Sir Thomas Warner being unable to serve as the
King's Lieutenant then John Jeaffreson II was to assume this duty. They
both had large estates on St. Christopher's Island (St. Kitts). Samuel
Jeaffreson II owned Red House Plantation where he dies on Dec 12, 1649.
His grave, on Middle Island at St. Thomas Church, has a large tomb
marking his burial site.
