!Copied from "George Metz - Our Family Tree" by Father Earl Metz Just
a word about Stella Metz, the inspiration for this project. She came
to Cincinnati for employment in September, 1905, and she has been
making her home at the FONTBONNE ( a residence for ladies and working
girls conducted by sisters, on Fifth Street, Cincinnati) for the last
twenty five years. She was formerly employed by the Cincinnati and
Suburban Bell Telephone Company;any, and also did embroidery work on
men's shirts as a power machine operator in a factory in Cincinnati.
Besides other types of work she engaged in, she also sang in the
church choir and she is interested in art and painting. But her
consuming interest has been to get a family "tree" compiled before she
dies. Well, here it is, Stella, for whatever it is worth. You did it!
