Engerrand II's father was Thomas I de Coucy and his mother was Melesinde de Crecy. His paternal grandparents were Engerrand I de Coucy and Ada de Marle; his maternal grandparents were Guy de Crecy and UNKNOWN Unk. He had a sister named Melesinde. He had a half-sister named Beatrice. He died in 1148.
