Mary Welch 
Mary was born on March 14th, 1859 in Colorado Co., Texas.1 Mary's father was John George Welch and her mother was Celicia Elizabeth Sandifer. Her paternal grandparents were James Welch and Mahala Redmon; her maternal grandparents were Joshua A. Sandifer and Lincy Lee. She had six brothers and five sisters, named James Henry, Joshua Sherwood, Still Born, Wiley Franklin, William Maddison, Lynton Lee, Martha Ann, Sarah, Pamelia Jane, Elizabeth and Amanda Marcella. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.General Notes

!Mary was a twin sister to William Maddison Welch. She was one year
old at the 1860 census. Probably died at an early age.
