Archie Lee Welch 
Archie Lee was born on November 1st, 1916.1 Archie Lee's father was Wiley Newton Welch and his mother was Rosa Aliceann Merritt. His paternal grandparents were William Maddison Welch and Vannie Lee Wofford; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Washington Merritt and Eliza Catherine Hope. He had three brothers named Raymond Newton, Jack Newton and Lenton Wiley. He was the second youngest of the four children.-
