  Giles was likely born in Gloucestershire, England in the early
  1600's.  He came to this country prior to 1653 and resided at Chuckatuck,
  Virginia, on the boundary of Isle of Wight and Nansemond Counties.  Giles
  was a Burgess of Nansemond County 1658-1660.  He probably had 4 sons. One
  of these was John Webb.
