Jane Butler was born in 1722 in Bridge's Creek, Westmoreland Co., VA.1 Jane Butler's father was Augustine, Captain Washington and her mother was Jane Butler. Her paternal grandparents were Lawrence, Major Washington and Mildred Warner; her maternal grandfather was Caleb Butler. She had three brothers named Butler, Lawrence and Augustine. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Colonel Samuel, Charles, George Eskridge, Ist President USA, John Augustine, Elizabeth and Mildred. She died in Mount Vernon, Va.1 -
