Florrie Mae was born on August 3rd, 1919.1 Florrie Mae's father was Arthur Gilford Tolar and her mother was Beulah Benton Barbree. Her paternal grandparents were Lodric L. Tolar and Joanne Elizabeth "Sis" Kingry; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Owen Barbree and Emily Catherine Brown. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Son, Arthur Curtis, Wade Owen, Ruth Lee, Myrtice Catherine and Waver Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the seven children.-
