Lucy B. was born in 1838 in McMINN TN.1 Lucy B.'s father was Charles Taliaferro Thornton and her mother was Lucy B.. Her paternal grandparents were Reuben Thornton and Mildred Grymes. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Charles D., Albert R., Virginia, Martha and Hannah. She was the third youngest of the seven children.1 General Notes
