Christopher Thornton 
Christopher was born about 1540 in Thornton, Langston, England. Christopher's father was Stephen Thornton and his mother was Cecily Metcalfe. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Thornton and Elizabeth Metcalfe. He had two brothers named Peter and Gabell. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in 1590 in Lincolnshire, England.
