Erasmus Taylor 
Erasmus was born on September 5th, 1715 in Orange Co., Va. Erasmus' father was Colonel James II Taylor and his mother was Martha Thompson. His paternal grandparents were James I Taylor and Frances Walker; his maternal grandparents were Colonel William Thompson and UNKNOWN Martha. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Zachary, Charles, George, Colonel James, Frances, Mildred, Hannah, Tabitha and Martha. He died at the age of 79 on December 19th, 1794 in "Meadowfarm, " Orange Co., Va.-
