Godfrey Stansell 
Godfrey was born in 1776.1 Godfrey's father was Godrey, Sr. Stansell and his mother was Sarah Williams. His paternal grandparents were John, Jr. Stansell and Sarah Smithwick; his maternal grandfather was William Williams. He had a half-brother named Reverend Jesse.
