Thomas Reade was born on February 23rd, 1764 in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania Co., VA. Thomas Reade's father was Thomas Reade Rootes and his mother was Martha Jacqueline "Maria" Smith. His paternal grandparents were Major Philip Rootes and Mildred Reade. He was an only child. He died at the age of 59 on January 24th, 1824 in VA.-
